The King of War Evolution holds a title which is not to be taken lightly, for he has defeated all challengers to the title with no quarter or mercy, pressing the point until their mechanized avatars have been split asunder. - Neddiedrow

Rules

War Evolution is a traditionally multiplayer team-based strategy game, focused around micromanagement and team synergy. However, there are three ways in which the title can be won, all very different from each other.

Crown Duel: Two people, the King and a Challenger, can face off in a one on one battle. Start resources are set at 1000, start positions chosen ingame, the map is chosen by the Challenger. Each contestant for the crown must declare his class in turn, the Challenger selecting before the King. If the game does not end after thirty minutes, the title is lost to both players and moved to the award for a Round Combat.

Royal Skirmish: Two teams, one headed by the King and the other by the Challenger, can face off in a three on three battle. The assisting members are ranked as Advisor and Champion respectively. Start resources are set at 1000, start positions chosen ingame, the map is chosen by the Challenger. Each contestant for the crown must declare his class in turn, the Challenger selecting before the King. Then the Advisors do the same, and then the Champions. Only the Challenger or the King can gain the title from such a match, the others merely assist. If the game does not end after thirty minutes, the title is lost to both players and moved to the award for a Round Combat.

Round Combat: A Round Combat takes place when the crown is not held by any player, having been lost in an inconclusive Crown Duel, lost in an inconclusive Royal Skirmish, or removed from the previous Monarch for other reasons. Up to sixteen players can participate, all of them declaring their classes before the game begins. Start resources are set at 1000, start positions chosen ingame, the map is chosen by the last King to hold the crown or Sehkmet if such is unavailable. The winner of the Round Combat gains the title. If the combat continues past two hours, it ends and the remaining players start a smaller Round Combat for the crown.

  • A disconnect is a loss for the individual who loses connection to the host.
  • All replays are to be uploaded for possible perusal or review.
  • Challenges may only be repeated once every 48 hours.

Any concerns with a battle for the title can be brought up to Sehkmet/Neddiedrow via PM and he may review the match and deliver executive judgment publicly.
