Open Clan? - is the clan open to new members
Only if you are skilled at unit-making and want to assist with Star Wars: Spring
acronym Star Wars Spring. The thing we are working on
History - how the clan started?, who funded it?
n/a
The original Star Wars TA was formed by a legendary group known as the "krew". They parted ways once the evil tendrils of Real Life (c) took hold; and the stewardship of the Star Wars TA realm fell to a new group of nerds without lives - namely, Gnome and Warlord Zsinj.
Gnome and Warlord Zsinj do 99.999% of the actual work. They're the reason the mod is Spring-ified in the first place. Gnome is a Spring modding pioneer, but he grew disenchanted with the retardery on the forums, and barely plays any more. Gnome works on the scripting elements, and the general "behind the scenes mechanic" guy.
Warlord Zsinj is a skilled modeler and well known "ideas guy". Interestingly enough, he is named after a ruthless warlord from the Rogue Squadrun novella, although the Zsinj we know is in fact cuddly and harmless. He does most of the game visuals, as well as the design and balance.
DragonMaster45 is an enigma. He made himself a member one day, but noone really asked him to join. Noone really asked him to leave though, so he has remained [SWS]. He did something for the original SWTA mod a while back and is still known for the Star Wars TA: War In Space mod, so it is (somewhat) appropriate for him to be a member. He plays SWS regularly, and is pretty good. If you see him around, ask him for some help, and he'll be glad to oblige.
El Castro is a regular beta tester, and helps out with major balance decisions as well as game design.
We have these [SWS] tags to identify ourselves to the community. If you see anyone with the [SWS] tags, it means they are intimately involved with the production and running of Star Wars Spring. If you have any queries about SWS at all, please direct them at anyone bearing the [SWS] tags.
